Membership
There are different levels of membership for The Libertarian Party. On the National Level, the different levels differ because of the amount of yearly contributions. These are:
- Foundation — $25 annually. Foundation Members receive a Subscription to LP News and a Membership card identifying the level of association
- Supporter — $50 annually. Supporter Members also receive a Subscription to LP News and a Membership card identifying the level of association.
- Advocate — $150 annually or $15 monthly, Advocate Members also receive a Subscription to LP News and a Membership card identifying the level of association.
- Minuteman — $250 annually or $25 monthly. Minuteman Members also receive a Subscription to LP News and a Membership card identifying the level of association.
- Patriot — $500 annually or $50 monthly. Patriot Members also receive a Subscription to LP News and a Membership card identifying the level of association.
- Lifetime Founder — $1,500 annually or $150 monthly in dues or contributions. A Lifetime Founder recieves the same benefits listed above plus your membership will never expire, a Lifetime membership lapel pin, Mention in LP News, and Mention on LP website.
- Pioneer of Freedom — $2,500 annually or $250 monthly in dues or contributions. A Pioneer of Freedom Member recieves the same benefits as a Lifetime Founder plus benefits, Lifetime member ribbon for name badge,Mention in program, Mention on signage, and VIP seating at banquet at The National Convention.
- Beacon of Liberty — $5,000 annually or $500 monthly in dues or contributions. A Beacon of Liberty Member receives all the benefits above plus a photo in LP News, a photo on LP website, and VIP seating with LNC member at banquet.
- Select Benefactor — $15,000 annually or $1,500 monthly in dues or contributions. A Select Benefactor Member receives all the benefits above plus VIP seating with LNC chair or officer at banquet.
- Chairman's Circle — $25,000 annually or $2,500 monthly in dues or contributions. A Chairman's Circle Member receives all the benefits above plus direct contact with the national chair, presidential nominee, or significant LP candidate, VIP seating for self and a guest with national chair, LNC officer, special guest, presidential nominee, and naming of an event.
The National Membership signup can be found at www.lp.org/membership Some State Chapters (like Florida) do not require dues, just for a person to be registered with The Libertarian Party.
